The Academy Day
These are the timings for our day.
The academy is open to students from 7:30am to support our students with the geographical challenges they face.
A free breakfast is provided for all students between 7:40am and 8:10am.

This amounts to 38 hours 5 minutes in a typical week.
We offer 160 more hours of education per year compared with other local secondary schools and academies.
Lunch Times
Our Community Lunch follows a family dining model. This model is used at several high-performing and outstanding schools across England. Whilst also promoting a healthy, balanced and varied diet for all of our students, it significantly reduces food waste, in line with our ethical values.
Students sit and eat together with staff. Students develop socially, morally, spiritually and culturally through our Community Conversations on Trending Tuesday and Thoughtful Thursday.
All religious and medical dietary requirements are catered for.
Electives
Electives are our P5 lessons. Students choose three different electives per term, one academic, one physical and one creative elective. Find out more information here.
