Admissions

Our academy currently consists of Year 7, 8, 9 and 10. 

We are growing the academy each year through a new Year 7 cohort.

The deadline to apply for a Year 7 place in 2025 is

31st October.

How do I make an application?

Applications for a child to start in Year 7 in September, or for mid-year applications, are made through Manchester City Council – please visit manchester.gov.uk/admissions.

Oversubscription Criteria 

We admit up to 240 students in Year 7 each year – this is our PAN (Pupil Admission Number). If fewer than this apply, we offer a place to all applicants.

Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) will be admitted to the school named on their plan. These children are assigned places before the oversubscription criteria is applied.

How to move to us from another school

You need to ask your current school for an 'in-year transfer form' or contact Manchester City Council for support on school.admissions@manchester.gov.uk

Offers made - 3rd March 2025

Deadline for accepting or refusing places - 17th March 2025

Closing date for appeals of on time applications - 28th March 2025
