Belle Vue Compete in International Debate Competition

Ten students proudly represented our school in the international debate competition known as 'Debate with Hart'.

Joining them were schools from across the world, spanning from Dubai, Kenya, Italy, Vietnam, the UK, to America.

Our students engaged in discussions on whether university fees should be abolished. They faced off against schools with diverse perspectives, defending their arguments with conviction and eloquence.

Judged by impartial school teachers, the debates were evaluated based on the students' material, method of debate, and mannerisms, with results announced on Monday.

The top eight graded schools will progress to the quarter-finals, where they'll face an unforeseen challenge.

We are so proud of the students and hope to see them in the quarter finals!

"The competition was really good; it was competitive, but I enjoyed the challenge. It was also great to compete with so many countries across the world."
