Co-op Academy Belle Vue’s Careers Conference provided students with an exciting and enriching experience, combining hands-on activities, expert talks, and career exploration to help shape their futures.

The day was structured around a rotation of events, ensuring that students engaged with a variety of opportunities:

🔹 Careers Fair – A bustling hub of employers, universities, and training providers, offering students the chance to explore different industries, ask insightful questions, and gather information about their future pathways.

🔹 Entrepreneur Challenge Workshop – Led by former Apprentice candidate Adam Corbally, this dynamic session encouraged students to think creatively, develop business ideas, and enhance their problem-solving skills—key attributes for future success.

🔹 AI and the Future of Work – A thought-provoking talk from Databricks, highlighting the rapid rise of artificial intelligence and how it is reshaping industries. Students gained insight into emerging careers in tech and the skills required to thrive in an AI-driven world.

In addition to these core sessions, Year 10 students participated in two specialised workshops:
🔹 Preparation for Work Experience – Helping them understand how to make the most of their upcoming placements and develop essential employability skills.
🔹 Healthy and Positive Mindset – A session focused on resilience, wellbeing, and maintaining a positive outlook in both academic and career aspirations.
