Co-op Academy Belle Vue Celebrates a Successful Children in Need Day
Co-op Academy Belle Vue was buzzing with excitement as students and staff came together for a day filled with fun and fundraising in support of Children in Need. The event proved to be a fantastic success, combining creativity, laughter, and generosity to make a difference for an incredible cause.
A Day of Fun and Fundraising
The academy embraced the spirit of giving with a range of activities designed to raise money while bringing everyone together:
- Own Clothes Day: Students and staff swapped uniforms for their favourite outfits, donating generously to take part in this relaxed and vibrant event.
- Sponge a Teacher: Lunchtime turned into a hilarious spectacle as students eagerly lined up to throw wet sponges at brave teachers, raising laughs and plenty of funds.
- The Ultimate Quiz Challenge: Teams battled it out in a high-energy lunchtime quiz, with £10 added to the donation totaliser for every correct answer. The school secured a £100 donation per year group to Children in Need, representing the academy’s commitment to making a meaningful contribution.
An Outstanding Achievement
Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our community, Co-op Academy Belle Vue raised a significant amount for Children in Need. The event highlighted the academy’s values of community and cooperation, showing how we can come together to support those in need.
Looking Back with Pride
Mr Fletcher, our Head of School, said:
"I’m incredibly proud of the effort, energy, and generosity shown by our students and staff. Children in Need Day is a wonderful reminder of the impact we can have when we come together for a common cause."
