History

The History curriculum at Co-op Academy Belle Vue is broad and balanced, meeting the National Curriculum in full whilst including diverse and marginalised voices - such as through our study of the Silk Roads, West African Kingdoms, and Black British Civil Rights. Our key aim is to promote academic excellence and character development for all students, regardless of their starting points. Staff members are specialists, taking part in think tanks on curriculum and working closely with the British Archives and the Holocaust Educational Trust to produce cutting edge resources. We enable students to thrive by investing in our staff.
