Horticulture Elective and Eco-Committee Plant 100 Trees

Students from Belle Vue's Horticulture & Gardening Elective and Responsibility & Eco-Committee have planted 100 trees.

Led by the Horticulture and Gardening Elective and supported by the Responsibility & Eco Committee, this project is creating a green space in our academy while nurturing a sense of environmental responsibility and making a difference in our community.

Not only will the trees create a more welcoming environment, but they will also play a crucial role in combating climate change, absorbing carbon dioxide, and releasing oxygen into the air to improve air quality for our local community. Trees are also the longest-lived organisms in the world, providing homes and food for innumerable species of birds, mammals, and insects. By planting trees today, we are ensuring the survival of species threatened by habitat loss and maintaining ecosystems.

We'd like to thank Tree Appeal for providing us with the trees and giving us the opportunity to safeguard our ecological heritage for future generations.

"It was an amazing experience! I've never planted a tree before, and it's a great feeling to support our local community through creating a greener environment."
